        If you have an animal-related emergency outside of normal business hours you will need to contact law enforcement dispatch or call 911.

        Animal Control Officers will respond to the following types of calls:

        • Bats loose inside of a business or residence
        • Reported bites where the animal is loose and the owner is unknown.
        • Seriously injured wildlife and animals

        Animal Control Officers will not respond to the following types of calls:

        • Animals on freeways
        • Aggressive dogs at large
        • Animals and wildlife with minor injuries (safely confine until the following day)
